Hi, I am stoped at raising dust, after over 50 times I cannot get the drift points, also the 4 second lead off road track same problem. Is it time to give up? I have read all I can find on the subject in the forum but when you can't read German it's not much help.
PLEASE could someone tell me how to drift or how to get passed the drifting missions? they are not fun at all!!!!!!

Patch the game to 1.3.3 version, it has easier goals in some missions. Also in this version you can use a cheat-code (see included readme).

Hi Krom, thankyou for your reply, I have already patched using wr2_update_111_133.exe. What included readme are you referring to? There was not a readme in this patch, I have not seen a cheat-code, except for the extra speed bucks which made no difference to being able to drift. When drifting the point count often appears in red, hence no points, quite often I get an onscreen message saying great slide or something similiar but still only low count of points. When the point count gets high I end up in a 360 degree spin! I have no problems with games like GTR, GT Legends, RD2, RD3 or RBR. I have tried applying RBR techniques but still no joy!! Is there another cheat code that I am not aware of, or maybe a special method for drifting in this game. Apart from drifting this would have to be one of the best written games that I have played. I have only had the game for a short while got it on eBay and I would really like to see whats after the 26% mark.

There is no special method to drift in WR2, handbrake and countersteering should do the job. We made the mistake to not expect anyone to have problems with drifting because because we had none, so it was a bit surprising for us that these missions were frustrating to many gamers. So we integrated another cheat...

While the mission runs, you can type "welldone" with not more than one second between two characters. The pointbased results are then set (and frozen, so you can't make more speedbucks from it) to the required value. Placement and times are not affected by this cheat.
