Synetic found a publisher (RTL Games, subsidiary of RTL TV station) for the midprice Cobra 11 franchise, not for a new full price WR3 game (or whatever title it would get, definitely not "WR3"

). RTL ordered the game and paid for it, Synetic made it. The plot, the basic idea of the game (based on some RTL TV show), the range of features - everything was determined by the publisher and the budget that was made available.
That's 'our' problem. I've been waiting for a "WR3" for years now ...

Good for Synetic though, at least someone paid their bills for a couple of years (since WR2 was released). They'd still be interested in a new "real" racing game but they need funding for it, i.e. a new publisher (like TDK or Playlogic for MBWR/WR2). They could still do another Cobra 11 game for RTL though
