Since Burning Wheels is released what's next on Synetics list?
(Obviously after the odd patch and such).
obviously most of the community want a WR3. so why don't Synetic do several tweaks to Burning Wheels engine. and not include any real world cars. since most of us would convert them from previous World Racing games.

Yes, ofcourse is better spend money for such games like boring Alarm Fur Cobra 11. And I dont understand why it miss many WR2/MBWR features if engine allows that. like dash view and such...
Wasnt AFC11 a game to make money to make WR3? I'm not gonna buy any new AFC, but I would really pay for WR2 successor (WR3) with new features and the old ones from WR2/ MBWR

Synetic found a publisher (RTL Games, subsidiary of RTL TV station) for the midprice Cobra 11 franchise, not for a new full price WR3 game (or whatever title it would get, definitely not "WR3" :) ). RTL ordered the game and paid for it, Synetic made it. The plot, the basic idea of the game (based on some RTL TV show), the range of features - everything was determined by the publisher and the budget that was made available.

That's 'our' problem. I've been waiting for a "WR3" for years now ... ;)
Good for Synetic though, at least someone paid their bills for a couple of years (since WR2 was released). They'd still be interested in a new "real" racing game but they need funding for it, i.e. a new publisher (like TDK or Playlogic for MBWR/WR2). They could still do another Cobra 11 game for RTL though ;)

I know Synetic since MBTR. MBTR-MBWR-WR2-AFC11N-AFC11CT-AFC11BW ... that means 6 games in a row - all superb!

And of course it doesn't matter what title it will be - WR3 or whatever. As long as it's made by Synetic it's gonna be awesome :)

It's that time again.
What's going on in the offices at Synetic this year?
Do Synetic have Twitter or (god forbid) Facebook?

Hi Stew2000,
we are still working on a "not announced yet" title.
No time to add and administer a twitter/facebook page as you can see the spare news on our our homepage :| But the publisher has added a facebook page for cobra: http://www.facebook.com/cobra11game.

I'd love to see a new World Racing as well. I do enjoy the Cobra games, but they definitely lack the spectacle of a World Racing game. Those huge environments - oh man :) I know Cobra has the city, but you don't get the variety that separate environments have.

Perhaps if interest was high enough, they could do what Slightly Mad Studios (and many smaller studios seem to be doing these days) and having fans buy shares in a game produced. I believe they call it World of Mass Development. I know I'd pay to get a piece of it :)

I still play World Racing on my original Xbox to this day. It's a pity it isn't compatible with the 360 really, as it is still a very pretty game indeed. Love it - my favorite racing game of all time.
