Today I bought World Racing 2. Installing is no problem. Starting gives more problems: I can see the menu to choose a language. Pushing the return key (no matter which language I choose), will start up my computer. Game does not work at all... Can someone give me an answer (can even be in German (ich verstehe auch Deutsch))

Please report the language version your Windows installation - US English, Russian, German ... whatever.
Plus the country where you bought WR2.

For instance, the original Russian WR2 DVD doesn't run on German Windows PCs.

What Snyder said is absolutely correct but another idea is to check your anti virus tool. You can look in this thread to get an overview of the problem and help, too.
Do you have already installed (or tried out) the patch v1.3.3? This patch fixes some problems. If you do not own the american or russian version you have to be able to install this patch and should do this.
Additional to that it's very helpful to have more information about your system at all.

WR2 for U.S. has BIG problem witth StarForce copy-protection drivers installed from WR2 DVD (at least for me on brand new clean WinXPSP2 PC).
