Hello!

I've played MBTR in a LAN without problems, however, i've tried to play this game over the internet, and i haven't been able. A friend of me created the game, gave me his public ip and the game didn't find it. We tried the other way round with the same result

I've looked for information about ports and routers (in case i need to open any port in my router) but i've found nothing.

Do i need to open any ports to play this game over the internet? If yes, does anyone know which one(s)?

I have also read that i might need an IP-Tool. Is it true?

MBTR Multiplayer is based on simple DirectPlay, so you have to open the DirectPlay ports:
Range 2300-2400 TCP
Range 2300-2400 UDP
Port 47624

IP-Tool is not needed as it was an PHP-Scrip on the old www.mbtr.de page with the ability to enter your starting session time.
