Will Highway Nights be better optimized for low end PC's?
My poor Athlon 2800+ doesn't like this modern stuff :(

I am sorry, but I don't think so. As landscape are increased a lot we have to rise the minimum specification a little bit. But so far we have not tested minimum specification.

The English language link can be found on the HTML pre page on the lower navigation bar left beside -> -> select language Deutsch / English or on the Flash Page (a little bit hidden by the arm with the keys in Ruth 66 hands) in the right navigation bar the last point in the list.

Highway Nights is the German title and the international title is Crash Time 3. So choose Games -> Crash Time 3

Why can't it be Highway Nights for UK. Crash Time makes it sound childish.

Publisher thinks it is better to have a different title for terretories where the TV series is not shown.

I've just tried the demo with my
Athlon 2800+
2GB Ram
Geforce 6800

And it runs. with all low settings and using bumper cam, it's fairly playable.

The benchmark test did an average of 12fps. In game all around the city the framerate doesn't drop.
I also found that if I renamed the traffic folder it gives me a nice boost in framerate.

Two minor annoyances though. The auto-reverse off doesn't work. and the game needs an option for steering sensitivity.

Uhm ... 12 fps is quite not fast ... anyway if you can handle it you won't be dissapointed by the full version.
I just checked the auto-reverse and it works in the right way. Off: Press brake and it won't switch to reverse. On: Press brake and it will switch to reverse after a short while.

I also have a problem with the steering sensitivity, is there a way to fix this? Also, if I buy the game from amazon.de, will the game audio be in English as well as German, like the demo?

Sorry, you just can change the "Deadzone". For steering sensitiviy you might use an external tool like Logitechs Profiler.
The German release includes fully localisation to English and French for text files and English for audio/voice files, too.
